Not really.

I’m in Ashland for the weekend for commencement. Jackie’s walking.
Missed the lengerie party because I’m old and fell asleep after a glass of Bulberry Blackberry wine (which was absolutely delicious).

Went beach and park walking and taking pictures yesterday with Jackie. I took hundreds of pictures, and I think some of them will atcutally look good too! I’ll go through them and put them up on flickr somethime this week if I can. I had fun. and now it’s time to go to breakfast.

Started playing WoW again, still plying LOTRO too.
It’s lonely in the low level WoW maps.

Will work for First Age

Received a letter from ComCast about a spped increase. So I rebooted my modem and ran a speed test. These were the results. I was happy with a 6mb download, but my Upload has almost tripled! WooHOO!

I don’t know how long it’s been true, but I realised that I miss my family. Especially spending time with either of my parents.
I’m the first to admit that even when I was living just 2 miles away from my mom, I still didn’t visit very ofter, but it was more often than I’ve had time to do from down here. Jackie’s family is great, one of the best and most supportive families I’ve ever had the privilege of knowing, don’t get me wrong, but they’re not mine.
I miss hanging out with my older sister and sharing raunchy stories while playing cards. I miss picking up my niece and nephew as they scream “Uncle Brent!!” in that shrill voice that makes my head want to pop. I miss playing pool with my brother, or dispensing advice to my little sisters about how all men are evil and that they should just get dogs, rottweilers or pit bulls. Most of all, I miss hanging out with my dad and talking over a pizza at O.I.P. or taking my mom out to breakfast after she got done working 3rd shift.
I don’t regret moving down here. It was and is still a good move for me, I just miss my family. I need a hug.
