Got out for a ride today and I feel much better for it. :-)

Now, let’s start again…

It’s a deceptively beautiful day out today. The sun is shining, it has been all day and cloud cover is only now starting to appear. The sky was a bright blue, the kind that makes you want to go outside and revel in the outdoors and all of nature’s glory, no matter what you’re activity of choice is. The deceptive part is that it’s –12 deg C outside and there’s a good breeze goin’ on too.

Aside from that, it’s been months since last I posted anything of significance, so I’ll try to fill in the gap because there were some bigger events in there.

…and I’m stumblin’ in again.

It’s a B E A utiful Friday outside, I know because I can see it through the window. This past week, in spite of it being shortened thanks to Memorial Day, has felt like it’s been dragging on. Now that today is here, however, I feel physically refreshed. Of course this could be entirely due to the fact that I was able to get some extra sleep this morning.

Had a nice weekend. Friday night, I actually got home at a normal hour and Jackie came with (YAY!). We went through my food stores to determine a grocery list and then priced it on Http://Peapod.com. There were a bunch of sales so we approved the cart instead of going to Jewel/Sam’s Club. Then we got to hang out and watch TV/eat chips + guac, which was cool because we don’t get to do that often.

On Saturday, I went to the apartment office to discuss lease renewal. Apparently, they didn’t realize that when I wanted to remove the CO-Signer from the lease, it meant that I wanted to remove the CO-Signer from the lease, so when they told me all I’d need to bring was my signature, that was incorrect. They have to reevaluate my income to determine if I’m financially responsible enough to fly solo on my lease, never mind that I’ve never missed nor been late on a rent check. *grumble* It upsets me more that they didn’t tell me ahead of time, than the possibility of having to keep my Co-Signer, because now I have to put off the lease renewal while I get check stubs to them and they do their thing…whatever

Saturday evening/night, I drove to McHenry and Jackie and I went

Today seemed to drag on like no one remembered to feed the Hamster that keeps time moving along. I had to split my time between two clients today which allowed me to be out driving in the beautiful sun more than usual. However, problems at my first clients office kept me there until such a time that Chupacabra’s was packed and I had to drive while the Stupids were out in force.

m’eh, I got over it.

In other news, my new wheel for my bike (from Cambria Bicycle Outfitters ) will be here on the 8th. Hooray for new wheel! Boo for taking so long!

Jackie’s coming down for Independence Day! Less than 48hrs until I can giver her a hug for real!!!! I’m excited! And we’re going to get to hang out and do things! HOORAY Jackie!! I just wish that my wheel was here and she could bring her bike. Oh well, we’ll just have to be sure to go to Chicago for fun instead. We’ll be going to the Garfield Park Conservatory (I hope) on Sunday. That will be nice. I hope I can borrow a camera from someone so that I can take pictures too. My camera sucks, and I need all the help I can get if I don’t want my pictures to look like total crap next to Jackie’s pictures.
