Keep you locked up in the trunk of my mind
I got in a rare Pre-work ride today! Of course it was only because I’m not on until noon.
It felt good to… ride this time of day. There were less people on the trail, fewer seemingly fewer bugs, and 10-15deg cooler than it usually is when I ride.
Here’s the stats!
The extra loop on the south end of dam woods, towards I-294 was a variably technical single-track. There were a couple parts where I had to stop and walk over an obstacle, but a more talented rider may have been able to ride over them. all in all, it was a trail I’d always wanted to turn down, and though I wasn’t disappointed, I don’t know if I’d do it again or not…maybe if I got a pair of bike pants (as opposed to shorts).
