Why be alone when, we can be together baby?

You can make my life worthwhile.
And I can make you start to smile.

Another ride today. Nothing spectacular, though there was a lesson to learn:

I dont know what you’ve done to me but I know this much is true:

I wanna do bad things with you.

Super fantastic, that’s what this is. I love my new gadget! This is way cooler, and much more in-depth than I’m capable of doing myself. (see below)

It’s been a long week, and it felt great to get out for a ride. If I can get into a better pattern, I might start doing quick 5-10 mile rides after work. So long as I’m on the road by 7:30, I’ll be back before dark…at least for now. That will of course change as winter approaches.

Unlike any past year, where I’ve made “resolutions” (i prefer “goals for the year”) I’ve actually accomplished several. I have them written down, but Jackie has the list, and of course my memory fails me in everything that’s on it. I did Finally get my FOID card, that was a goal. Within the next few months, I’ll be signing up to take my Conceal Carry class, I’m excited about that. MI was a conceal carry state, but I never applied for it, and I moved down here just as I started to put forth the effort. M’eh, now I’m more motivated to accomplish my goals on the list. It’s a lot easier to do when I have so many more resources available down here.

That’s all I have to say on this B-E-A-utiful Saturday! Auf Wiedersehen!

Sasquatch! He’s coming for you! Sasquatch! I’m scared to death…

On today’s ride, I took a whole bunch of pictures: pictures of the scenery, pictures of the remnants of the flood, pictures of wildlife, and pictures because I wanted to take pictures.  I had 67 pictures.  I even borrowed a nice camera (Cannon Rebel XSi) with which to take these pictures, but something went wrong. My pictures were on the memory card (I know because I saw them the first time I connected it to my computer) but for some reason, while reading the card my computer freaked out and the corrupted the partition on the card. All 67 pictures.  Gone.  Erased.  Could not recover.  So, all you get is my descriptions. Use your imagination.

The ride today was originally going to be about exercise, at least until I realized that the forest would likely not be dry after last week’s flooding.  The wet trails would make it difficult
